Build your own patient panel from scratch. A growing geriatric endocrinology practice is launching in 12 new nursing home and skilled nursing buildings in Cincinnati, and it needs Nurse Practitioners to open them. You’ll be the primary clinical decision maker for five to six facilities, with real autonomy and a safety net: a collaborating physician is available by phone, text, FaceTime, or email whenever you want a second opinion. You start with one to two facilities and grow as you settle in.
Key ResponsibilitiesLaunch diabetes and thyroid care in brand-new long-term care and skilled nursing buildings, from initial visits through follow-upsMake clinical decisions on insulin, diabetes, and thyroid medications for your facilitiesBuild relationships with facility leadership, directors of nursing, and nursing staff as the practice’s ambassadorEducate patients and families on proper diabetes careFollow standardized processes and keep documentation accurate and timely
QualificationsActive Ohio NP license (AGACNP, AGNP, AGPCNP, ANP, or FNP preferred)At least 1 year as an NP in long-term care, skilled nursing, or post-acute care (2 years ideal).
