Full-Time Schedule | Alternating Saturdays Required

Typical Veterinary Assistant Responsibilities
  • Safely restraining patients for examinations and procedures
  • Assisting veterinarians and technicians during appointments and treatments
  • Preparing exam rooms, surgical suites, and treatment areas
  • Cleaning, sterilizing, and maintaining medical equipment
  • Collecting patient histories and recording medical information
  • Assisting with laboratory sample collection and processing
  • Administering medications as permitted by state regulations
  • Providing compassionate nursing care to hospitalized patients
  • Educating clients on basic pet care, medications, and discharge instructions
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient hospital environment
What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience as a Veterinary Assistant required
  • Strong animal handling and restraint skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and client service skills
  • Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
  • Passion for providing outstanding patient care and continuing to learn
Shift & Schedule Details

This is a full-time position with a consistent weekly schedule and rotating Saturday coverage every other weekend. The hospital values work-life balance and works closely with team members to maintain dependable scheduling.
