OPTI STAFFING GROUP IS HIRING!!Opening: Medical AssistantLocation: Anchorage, AKPay: $23.00 – $26.00 per hourAre you a caring, detail-oriented Medical Assistant who does well in a busy clinic? Opti Staffing Group is looking for a Medical Assistant to join a healthcare team in Anchorage. In this role you'll help providers deliver quality, patient-centered care and keep the clinic running smoothly day to day.RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist providers with patient examinations, treatments, and in-office proceduresMaintain sterile technique and follow patient safety protocolsTake and record vital signs and patient historiesPerform routine diagnostic testing and point-of-care testsDocument patient information accurately and on time in the electronic medical record (EMR)Teach patients about pre- and post-procedure instructions, medications, and follow-up carePrepare and restock exam and procedure rooms so supplies and equipment are always readyManage patient flow, scheduling, and communication between patients, providers, and staffKeep all patient information confidential and follow HIPAAQUALIFICATIONS:Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant programCurrent Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, NCMA, or CCMA) preferredPrevious clinical experience in primary care, urgent care, or specialty settings preferredWorking knowledge of EMR systems and medical terminologyStrong communication skills and a caring bedside mannerAbility to multitask, stay organized, and adapt in a fast-paced environmentDependable, professional, and a team player
