This is not a remote position. </p> Join a High-Growth Industry Leader <p> QXO is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our corporate accounting team in Daytona Beach, Florida. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact within a dynamic, publicly traded organization by driving financial reporting excellence, strengthening internal controls, and leading process improvements across the business. </p><p> If you're a detail-oriented accounting professional with strong leadership skills, a passion for continuous improvement, and experience in public company accounting, we'd love to hear from you. </p> What You'll Do <p> As an Accounting Manager, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial reporting while partnering with leaders across the organization. </p><p> Key responsibilities include: </p><ul><li> Prepare and review balance sheet account reconciliations </li><li> Support month-end close, financial reporting, and accounting processes </li><li> Ensure compliance with GAAP, accounting policies, and internal controls </li><li> Monitor adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements and standard operating procedures </li><li> Analyze monthly and quarterly financial results and prepare necessary adjustments </li><li> Review consolidated and divisional financial statements and recommend corrections as needed </li><li> Coordinate and support internal and external audit activities </li><li> Prepare and maintain accounting policy documentation </li><li> Drive automation initiatives and process improvements to improve efficiency and accuracy </li><li> Conduct financial analysis and reporting to support business decision-making </li><li> Partner with division leadership to understand performance results and resolve accounting questions </li><li> Lead cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives </li><li> Prepare reports and present findings to senior leadership </li><li> Support special projects and ad hoc financial analyses as needed </li></ul> What You'll Bring Required Qualifications <ul><li> Bachelor's degree in Accounting </li><li> Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience </li><li> At least 3 years of experience with a publicly traded company, public accounting firm, or large/mid-sized private equity-backed organization </li><li>2+ years of management or leadership experience </li><li> Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls </li><li> Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems </li><li> Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills </li><li> Strong written and verbal communication skills </li><li> Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment </li></ul> Preferred Qualifications <ul><li> CPA designation </li><li> Oracle ERP experience </li><li> Experience with automation and analytics tools such as: <ul><li> VBA/Macros </li><li> Alteryx </li><li> Power BI </li><li> Other reporting and process automation platforms </li></ul></li></ul> Why Join QXO? <ul><li> Opportunity to make an impact in a rapidly growing public company </li><li> Collaborate with experienced financial and operational leaders </li><li> Exposure to enterprise-wide initiatives and cross-functional projects </li><li> Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits </li><li> Career growth and advancement opportunities </li></ul> Travel: Less than 10% domestic travel Physical Requirements <p> Work is performed in a typical office environment and may occasionally require standing, bending, or lifting packages up to 10 pounds. </p><p> Compensation Range: </p>$96,000.00 - $149,500.00<p> To comply with Pay Transparency laws, employers must disclose an annual salary range. Actual offers depend on factors such as location, experience, skills, and market data.
