Inside Sales ClerkDescription Of Employer: Founded in 1901, Feeser's, Inc. is a family owned and operated full-line foodservice distributor located in Harrisburg, PA servicing the Mid-Atlantic region. Feeser's provides an expansive offering of dry, refrigerated, and frozen products to a diverse customer base comprised of restaurants, healthcare facilities, educational facilities, and other institutions.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesBuild strong customer relationships to understand their needs, tailor product offerings and remain responsive to changing customer goals, and align with Feeser's value and productsManage each day towards exceeding inside sales goals for customer orders, customer service resolutions and prospective customer callsEnter customer orders into ERP order managementInform customers of current promotions and events and recommend additional and complimentary productsIdentify and target potential customers through various channels, including inbound calls, outbound calls and emailsUse CRM tool to document client interactions and track progress and prepare analytics for reviewProvide regular updates to management on progress toward sales goals and key performance metricsWork closely with the marketing and outside sales teams to support campaigns and follow up on marketing leadsShare market insights and customer feedback with the team to improve strategiesSupply positive, fast, and complete support resolutions to customers via various access channels such as telephone, voicemail, email, Microsoft Teams, and online chat.Adapt your communication approach by customer to best solve their challenges, staying up to date on industry knowledge to share your expertise as a trusted resourceProject a professional company image through phone, email and instant message interactionKnow the product catalog in order to assist customers with product suggestions and alternativesAnswer all incoming concerns/needs from all customersProvide customers with invoice copies upon requestSit in for reps when they are out of the office, including answering their phone and emails, processing orders, and servicing the accounts in their zoneMonitor orders before the cut-off time for next day deliveryPerform other duties as directed by your supervisorSkills RequiredAbility to quickly find and resolve customer inquiriesDependable and punctual time management skillsStrong writing and math skills with attention to detailEmpathy and the ability to take initiative for the customerStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to creatively resolve tricky situationsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, subject to rapid change and uncertaintyProficient in Microsoft OfficeQualifications & ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent.2+ years' experience in a customer facing sales role (required)1+ years' food service experience (preferred)Physical RequirementsMoving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces.Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift equipment up to 50 pounds.Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.Communicating with others to exchange information.Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.Must possess visual acuity, i.e., close, distance, and color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust.Feeser's Food Distributors is an equal opportunity employer.
