My client is seeking an experienced Water Resources Design Engineer with 5+ years of professional experience to join a growing engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed Professional Engineer to work on diverse and challenging projects while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering designs, studies, calculations, and technical reports.
• Develop and review design details, specifications, drawings, and cost estimates.
• Prepare construction contract documents and final design packages.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable technical standards and requirements.
• Participate in client presentations and public meetings.
• Support field inspections and project research.
• Assist with training and mentoring junior engineers and CADD users.
• Stay current with water resources design methods, standards, and industry trends.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required; Virginia PE preferred.
• 510 years of professional engineering experience.
• Strong water resources engineering and design experience.
• Experience with construction documents, specifications, and engineering plans.
• VDOT experience preferred.
• Strong technical, communication, and teamwork skills.
