Daniels Health is looking for a Hospital Service Technician to join our team and help support hospitals with critical medical waste services. This is not a desk job—you’ll be on your feet, moving, lifting, and making a real impact every day. This position will service various locations in Chicago's North Shore and near-North Shore areas - flexibility and personal transportation are required! Consistent, daytime hours provided. \nWhat will your job involve?

• Working directly with hospital staff to ensure safe and timely medical waste container exchanges and proper segregation.
• Inspecting and servicing Daniels Health containers in clinical areas—this includes entering procedural spaces and working around sensitive equipment and patients.
• Lifting containers (up to 50 lbs) and pushing/pulling carts (up to 300 lbs) throughout the day.
• Maintaining inventory of containers and ensuring all areas are stocked and organized.
• Using a company-provided smartphone to manage tasks, report issues, and communicate with your team.
• Keeping staging areas clean and orderly before and after service.
• Representing Daniels Health with professionalism, positivity, and a strong work ethic.

• Someone who’s physically fit, comfortable with heavy lifting, and enjoys active, on-the-go work.
• Personal transportation to both work sites.
• A team player who can also work independently without direct supervision.
• Strong attention to detail—especially when it comes to paperwork and procedures.
• Reliable transportation and a willingness to travel between assigned locations.
• A can-do attitude and previous experience in a labor-intensive or logistics role.
