Role Description The SDG Program Facilitator is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad, responsible for implementing and supporting sustainability and SDG-related programs in partner schools. This role involves facilitating workshops, campaigns, and activities that help students understand and act on environmental issues and global sustainability goals. The facilitator will coordinate with school leadership and teachers to integrate Go Sharpener's curriculum-aligned challenges into school schedules, and ensure effective use of the digital platform, dashboards, and learning tools. Day-to-day tasks include planning sessions, delivering interactive activities, monitoring student participation, collecting feedback, and documenting impact outcomes. The role also requires collaboration with internal teams to refine content, share field insights, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of programs and student experiences.
Qualifications
Experience in facilitating workshops or educational programs for school-age children, preferably related to sustainability, environmental education, or SDGs. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse student groups and collaborate effectively with educators and school administrators. Familiarity with basic digital tools and learning platforms, including comfort with using reporting dashboards and online content in classroom or activity settings. Background in education, environmental studies, social sciences, or a related field; a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred. Organizational and planning skills to manage multiple school programs, campaigns, and timelines while ensuring quality delivery and accurate documentation. Demonstrated interest in youth leadership, sustainability, climate action, or community outreach, and a commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory practices. Ability to work on-site in Hyderabad, travel to partner schools as needed, and adapt to dynamic school environments.Details
