Senior Automation Engineer / Automation Architect – Playwright, TypeScript & Appium

Role Summary

We are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer to develop and maintain automated test scripts for web and Windows desktop applications using Playwright, TypeScript, and Appium within a unified automation framework.

Required Experience

• 5 to 8 years of experience in Test Automation
• 2 years of hands-on experience with Playwright
• Experience in enterprise automation projects

Key Responsibilities

• Develop automation scripts using Playwright and TypeScript
• Automate Windows desktop application workflows using Appium
• Create and maintain Page Objects, reusable components, and test utilities
• Execute regression, functional, and end-to-end automation suites
• Participate in framework enhancement activities
• Perform database validations and test data preparation

Mandatory Skills

• Playwright
• TypeScript / JavaScript
• Appium
• Windows Desktop Automation
• POM Framework

Preferred Skills

• API Testing
• DB2
• Experience with Warehouse Management, Supply Chain, or Logistics applications
