About the Company:A growing national law firm focused exclusively on labor and employment law is seeking a mid-to-senior level Employment Litigation Associate to join its New York City office, located in a brand-new space! The firm has grown organically out of its Atlanta headquarters rather than through mergers or acquisitions, and each office maintains a close, collaborative connection to the firm as a whole rather than operating as a standalone satellite.

About the Role:This position offers a mix of litigation and counseling work defending employers in discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, and wrongful termination matters. The firm is also open to candidates with a broader commercial litigation background who are interested in building out an employment practice.
Responsibilities:Litigating cases involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and other employment-related claimsRepresenting employers in court, before administrative agencies, and in mediations and arbitrationsAdvising clients on compliance, workplace policies, and risk managementCollaborating with partners on litigation strategy, motion drafting, depositions, and trial preparationBuilding toward long-term client relationships within a firm known for strong attorney tenure
Qualifications:JD from an accredited law school with strong academic credentialsMeaningful litigation experience (employment litigation background preferred; strong commercial litigators also considered)Admission to the New York Bar (or ability to obtain)Exceptional written and oral advocacy skillsStrong organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple mattersTeam-oriented mindset and commitment to client service
