Information Technology Business Analyst

IT Business Analyst (Charlotte, NC) Optomi, in partnership with a leading organization in the utilities industry, is seeking an experienced SAP IS-U FI-CA Functional Analyst to support SAP financial operations, accounting, and receivables processes. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on SAP IS-U FI-CA experience, including configuration, production support, and troubleshooting, along with a solid understanding of accounting and financial processes.

Experience of the Right Candidate:Strong hands-on SAP IS-U FI-CA experience is required, including functional configuration and production support.Experience with contract accounts, payments, dunning, collections, refunds, clearing, and write-offs.Strong understanding of SAP accounting processes, General Ledger integration, and financial transactions.Experience troubleshooting production issues, resolving defects, and supporting system enhancements.Knowledge of financial code-block mapping and month-end processing.Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.SAP S/4HANA, HANA reporting, utility industry experience, or an accounting background is a plus.
Responsibilities of the Right Candidate: Serve as a functional subject-matter expert for SAP IS-U FI-CA and customer receivables processes.Provide hands-on configuration, troubleshooting, testing, and production support.Investigate and resolve issues involving payments, dunning, collections, clearing, and financial postings.Partner with Finance and Accounting teams to support GL integration and month-end processing.Translate business and financial requirements into SAP functional solutions.Support system enhancements, defect resolution, and high-volume FI-CA processing. xzbcwsv Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to identify root causes and implement solutions.
