Job Description
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Product Change Coordinator to manage engineering change processes, product data management activities, and ERP/PLM system updates. The role requires close collaboration with engineering, regulatory, supply chain, and product management teams to ensure seamless implementation of product changes and New Product Introduction (NPI) releases.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage product changes across the product lifecycle.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and product release activities.
- Execute and manage Windchill PLM and SAP ERP related product data activities.
- Create, update, and maintain Bill of Materials (BOMs) , ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
- Manage and coordinate Change BOM (CBOM) updates and assess impacts on commercial catalogs and product configurations.
- Perform regulatory assessments for engineering changes and identify applicable regulatory requirements for Change Requests (CRs).
- Support engineering change management processes, including change notices, approvals, and implementation tracking.
- Manage MBP/SAP ERP enrichment activities for parts and materials.
- Update and maintain KMAT (EBOM) configurations, including adding/removing object dependency conditions and SAP material master setup.
- Ensure data consistency across PLM and ERP systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality.
- Drive change implementation activities while ensuring adherence to timelines and business requirements.
Required Skills
- 8-10 years of experience as a Product Change Coordinator, Product Data Specialist, or a similar role.
- Strong experience with:
- Windchill PLM
- SAP ERP
- Engineering Change Management (ECN/ECR)
- BOM and Product Structure Management
- NPI/Product Release Processes
- Good understanding of product lifecycle management processes.
- Experience in regulatory impact assessments related to engineering changes.
- Knowledge of SAP Material Master and product configuration management.
- Strong analytical, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the Medical Device domain.
- Understanding of product configuration and variant management.
- Exposure to regulatory compliance processes and design controls.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced global environment.
