Pitman Animal Hospital is a multi-doctor practice founded in 1987. We have extensive expertise and experience in many different areas, and we provide the highest quality veterinary medicine for the well-being of our customer's pets.

Looking for a veterinary hospital where you can grow your skills—and still have a life outside of work? Our office hours are 8:00 am - 8:00 pm Monday thru Friday, and 8:00 am - Noon on Saturday. We have flexibility in your shift assignments.

We're seeking a Graduate or Certified Veterinary Technician who wants to provide excellent medicine, build relationships with clients and their pets, and continue developing their clinical skills.

Put Your Veterinary Technician Skills to Work

This isn't a position where your technical abilities will sit on the sidelines. You'll be actively involved in patient care and have opportunities to use and strengthen your clinical skills.

Heres' what you'll do:

• Draw blood and place IV catheters
• Perform laboratory testing and patient treatments
• Calculate and administer anesthetic medications
• Prepare and monitor surgical patients
• Admit and discharge surgical patients
• Provide vaccinations and preventive care
• Safely handle and restrain patients
• Maintain and track controlled medications
• Educate clients about disease prevention, treatments, and ongoing care
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records
• Fill prescriptions and complete client callbacks
• Assist with invoicing and other patient-related documentation
