About the Role

A digital content writer crafts written content for the International section. Their primary role is to create engaging, informative, and SEO-optimized articles that resonate with target audiences. They research topics, ensure proper grammar and style, and align content with brand ET. Successful writers should drive traffic, engagement, and conversions through compelling copy.

Work Responsibilities

• The candidate must be able to form crisp and meaningful sentences to be able to write original and creative content for news-based SEO requirements
• No usage of AI tools for writing
• Strong understanding of domestic and international news
• Internet savvy and have the ability to utilize web research for content generation, an understanding of keywords & meta tags.
• Proofreading content for errors and inconsistencies
• Creating compelling headlines and body copy that will capture the attention of the target audience keeping in mind SEO requirement
• Someone who comes with a strong sense of initiative and enthusiasm
• Operations are shift based, which requires flexibility in doing all shifts, including graveyard shifts

Skills, Experience & Expertise

• A good command of the English language is a pre-requisite.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills (ensure to delivery of both non-plagiarized content and all-around consistency in style, images, and tone)
• Understanding of SEO Content Writing and ability to churn out copies quickly.
• The ability to consistently meet tight deadlines
• Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems and the capacity to work independently and collaboratively is a must
• Experience with an online content generation company can be an added advantage
