2027 Investment Banking Summer Analyst
Class VI Partners · United States
FULL TIMEinternship
Job Description
At Class VI, we are purpose-built to help entrepreneurs prepare for and achieve their full potential in the most challenging part of their business journey. Whether that be through a capital raise, full sale, pre-transaction preparation, or post-transaction wealth management, we help entrepreneurs reap the value they deserve from the companies they’ve created. If your ideal career involves purpose-driven work and collaborating with a caring, motivated team in a fast-paced environment, you might thrive growing with us as an Intern. Your work in the following areas will ensure that our clients (entrepreneurs) get everything they deserve (and then some) when the time comes for a transaction:
- Collaborating with Analysts and deal teams to create financial models and analysis, pitches, market reports, presentations, confidential information memorandums, and other materials essential to successful deals
- Other duties as assigned
- Hustle: Our clients appreciate us because they know we have their backs, that we will work tirelessly to help them achieve their dreams, and our attentive responsiveness makes each client feel like they are our only client.
- Humility: Instead of the approach of being the “smartest people in the room” that many investment banks take, we never lose our humility, seek to expand our perspective and learn from others, and have a driving desire to always grow personally and professionally.
- Relationships: We demonstrate our commitment to our clients and each other daily, always being there to help each other, with our focus on being there for our clients whether a deal happens or not, and our commitment to always doing the right thing, even when it hurts.
- Undergraduate student with an anticipated graduation year in 2028
- Relevant degree with strong academic track record (3.5 GPA or higher)
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong quantitative/analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Familiarity with financial analysis and three-statement operating models
- Working understanding of the M&A process
- Demonstrated maturity, integrity, and the ability to perform in an entrepreneurial environment, both individually and as a team player
- Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) skills
- Comfort using and directing AI tools to improve output while retaining full ownership of quality, accuracy, and judgment
- Ability to work in-person, 5 days/week, in Denver, CO
- Authorization to work anywhere in the U.S. without sponsorship
