About The Role:

Senior laboratory manager to lead and oversee our Residue Analysis and Trace Laboratory - ensuring technical excellence, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency in pesticide residue and trace contaminant analysis. This is a hands-on technical leadership role requiring deep expertise in GC-MS/MS and LC-MS/MS, method validation, ISO/IEC 17025 compliance, and team management.

Key Responsibilities:

Laboratory Operations & Technical Leadership:

• Lead and oversee pesticide residue and trace contaminant analysis using GC-MS/MS and LC-MS/MS instrumentation
• Supervise analysis of pesticides, antibiotics, vitamins, melamine, PFAS/PFOS, dioxins, furans, PAHs, PCBs, and other trace contaminants
• Implement and optimize QuEChERS and advanced sample preparation techniques
• Drive method development, verification, validation, and measurement uncertainty studies

Regulatory & Quality Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with SANTE, AOAC, ISO/IEC 17025, FSSAI, and APEDA regulatory guidelines
• Handle internal audits, NABL assessments, customer audits, and regulatory inspections
• Maintain ISO/IEC 17025:2017 documentation, data integrity, and laboratory quality standards
• Review and approve analytical data, chromatograms, validation reports, and test reports
• Manage instrument qualification (DQ/IQ/OQ/PQ), calibration, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting

Team Leadership & Development:

• Supervise, train, and develop technical staff on analytical protocols, regulatory compliance, and laboratory best practices
• Monitor laboratory quality metrics, turnaround time (TAT) commitments, and operational efficiency
• Build and maintain a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence
• Provide technical support to customers and drive laboratory capability expansion

Required Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

• M.Sc. in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or related discipline
• Minimum 12-20 years in a NABL-accredited Residue Analysis Laboratory
• Proven hands-on expertise with GC-MS/MS, LC-MS/MS, and multi-residue analysis
• Strong knowledge of QuEChERS and advanced sample preparation methodologies

Technical & Regulatory Knowledge:

• Sound understanding of ISO/IEC 17025, NABL, SANTE, AOAC, FSSAI, and APEDA guidelines
• Expertise in method validation, verification, measurement uncertainty, and method development
• Experience in audit handling, laboratory management, and compliance documentation
• NABL Authorized Signatory qualification - preferred
