Job Title: Subject Matter Expert (SME) - Education & Training

Location: India (Remote)

Availability requirement: Minimum 20-30 hours per week

Required Qualification: Bachelor's/Master's in Education, Human Development, Child Development, Developmental Psychology, or related field.

Required Skills

Knowledge of human growth and development across developmental stages. Understanding of educational psychology and learning theories. Familiarity with curriculum design and instructional strategies. Ability to evaluate educational content for pedagogical effectiveness. Strong assessment and curriculum review skills. Strong subject matter expertise in the assigned career cluster. Experience with curriculum development, instructional design, or educational publishing. Knowledge of state standards, curriculum correlation, and standards mapping. Ability to review instructional materials for technical accuracy and pedagogical effectiveness. Strong analytical, editing, proofreading, and quality assurance skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and online collaboration tools. Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and meet project deadlines. Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality educational content.

Key Responsibilities

Review human growth and development curriculum. Conduct curriculum correlation review against state and national standards. Perform state standards mapping and alignment verification. Review Student Books (SB) for technical accuracy, pedagogy, and grade-level appropriateness. Review multimedia assets, including images, videos, animations, and interactives, for subject accuracy and instructional effectiveness. Identify content gaps, inconsistencies, and required revisions. Verify assessments, activities, and learning objectives for alignment and rigor. Collaborate with instructional designers, content developers, editors, and media teams. Participate in review meetings, team calls, and project discussions. Ensure high-quality, standards-aligned content prior to final publication.
