Tax Incentives & Compliance ManagerWe are partnered with a national foodservice distribution company is seeking a Manager of Business Economic Incentives to join its Denver-based tax department. This hands-on role owns the company’s multi-state economic development incentive compliance portfolio. You’ll make sure every filing is accurate, timely, and audit-ready, and that the company realizes the full value of its incentive agreements.

What You’ll DoManage the multi-state incentive compliance process, including calendars, data requests, recurring filings, contract performance requirements, and approvalsPrepare and file incentive compliance reports across multiple jurisdictionsGather, validate, reconcile, and analyze data needed for compliance and benefit realizationMaintain the incentive portfolio database and source documentationInterpret incentive agreements to identify obligations, deadlines, data needs, and risksPrepare benefit calculations, workpapers, and reconciliationsReview third-party provider filings and deliverables for accuracy and completenessPartner with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve data gaps and escalate risksPrepare dashboards and leadership updates on compliance status, realized benefits, and upcoming deadlinesSupport compliance audits and jurisdictional inquiries
What You BringBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Law, or a related field5+ years of experience with state and local business incentives, credits, economic development programs, or related tax complianceHands-on experience preparing and filing multi-state incentive compliance reportsWorking knowledge of property xzbcwsv tax and sales/use tax complianceStrong project and process management skillsClear written communication skillsExperience working with external consultants and internal stakeholdersAlteryx and PowerPoint experience preferredCPA and/or CCIP a plus
Compensation & Benefits$100,000–$125,000 base plus annual bonus.Day 1 health benefits, 401(k) with company match, employee stock purchase plan, education assistance, and paid time off.
