Corporate Accounting AnalystWe are partnering with a leading global industrial organization to recruit a Corporate Accounting Analyst for its corporate headquarters in Danbury, CT.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong public accounting background who is looking to transition into industry, or someone with a combination of public accounting and corporate experience. The role provides broad exposure across global accounting, consolidation, reporting and external financial reporting.

The RolePerform monthly global consolidation and reporting activitiesManage consolidation entries, account analysis and intercompany validationPrepare equity rollforwards and analyze monthly derivatives entriesSupport quarterly and annual external financial reporting in accordance with US GAAPCoordinate accounting and reporting activities across global teamsPartner with Treasury, Tax, FP&A, Technical Accounting and business unitsMaintain compliance with SOX controls and supporting documentationSupport internal and external auditsAssist with government reporting requirementsIdentify opportunities to improve accounting and reporting processes
Candidate ProfileBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting3–4+ years of relevant accounting experiencePublic accounting experience or a combination of public accounting and corporate/industry experienceCPA and/or MBA strongly preferredStrong knowledge of US GAAPAdvanced Excel skillsExperience with Workiva, Hyperion, JDE and/or SAP is advantageousStrong analytical skills with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
