The RoleThe Paid Search Team Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Brooklyn, NY. This role is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing paid search campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads and Bing Ads to drive qualified traffic and sales. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing budgets, monitoring performance metrics, conducting keyword and competitor research, and adjusting bids and ad copy to improve ROI. The Paid Search Team Lead will collaborate with marketing, merchandising, and sales teams to align campaigns with business goals and promotional strategies. The role also includes mentoring paid search specialists, implementing best practices, reporting on campaign results, and testing new strategies to enhance overall digital marketing performance.
What You’ll DoPlan, build and optimize Search, Shopping and Performance Max campaigns across a large furniture catalogManage budgets and pacing against revenue and ROAS targetsResearch keywords and competitors to find growth and wasted spendAdjust bids, bid strategies and ad copy, and run structured tests on new approachesWork with merchandising and sales to plan promotions, seasonal pushes and inventory prioritiesMentor paid search specialists, review their work and set team best practicesReport on performance and explain to leadership what’s working, what isn’t and what you’re changing
What You Bring5+ years of hands-on paid search experience, ideally in e-commerce or retailExperience managing large budgets and product catalogsStrong command of Shopping campaigns, product feeds and Merchant CenterExperience leading or mentoring other marketersClear communication with people who aren’t marketersInnovative problem solver mindsetSelf-starter mindset with the ability to take ownership of numerous, fast-moving projectsA data-driven mindset with outstanding analytical skills
Nice to HaveExperience in home furnishings and/or high ticket items
Salary135-175k annual salary, commensurate with experience
