HFM is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join our Labor & Employment group. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience handling Employment litigation matters, including all phases of case management, discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and highly respected team, work on sophisticated and challenging matters, and continue developing your litigation skills within one of San Diego’s premier law firms.
Job Responsibilities
Work on employment litigation matters of various sizes including individual, class, wage & hour, and PAGA litigationExtensive contact with client representatives and opposing counselAssist with workplace investigationsTake and defend depositionsDraft pleadings and motions, including dispositive motionsDraft and respond to discovery and correspondence
Qualifications
Must be admitted to and in good standing with the California Bar2+ years of experience in employment litigation requiredWage and hour class action/PAGA experience highly preferredPossess strong analytical skills, excellent oral, and written communication skillsHighly motivated professional who can take initiative and work independently as well as within a team
Job Type: Full-timeAnticipated base salary: $150,000.00–$185,000.00 BASE + BONUS
