Job Description As a Project Coordinator - Construction - Manhattan, you will be responsible for: Supporting Project Managers throughout the construction lifecycle Managing project documentation, logs, and correspondence Tracking RFIs, submittals, and change orders Coordinating subcontractors, vendors, architects, and consultants Maintaining project schedules and milestone updates Assisting with procurement and material tracking Preparing meeting agendas and distributing minutes Monitoring project budgets and contract documentation Supporting field teams with project coordination activities Assisting with project reporting and status updates Maintaining organized project files and records Supporting project closeout and turnover activities MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant The successful candidate will have: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred 1-4 years of construction experience in project coordination, project engineering, or administration Experience with interior renovation or fit-out projects preferred Understanding of RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and project management software Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and follow-through Desire to grow into an Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager role What's on Offer Competitive base salary: $70,000 - $100,000+ Annual performance bonus Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Generous PTO and paid holidays Commuter benefits Professional development and mentorship programs Clear advancement path to Assistant Project Manager Exposure to diverse Manhattan interior renovation projects Collaborative and team-oriented culture Stable backlog of work with a respected NYC contractor Apply today to gain valuable experience on Manhattan interior renovation projects while building a long-term career in construction management.
