Rideshare Consultants is a growing New Zealand accounting firm providing accounting and taxation services to small businesses and self-employed individuals throughout New Zealand.

We are seeking motivated, detail-oriented accountants to join our expanding team.

This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain international accounting experience by working directly with New Zealand clients.

You will receive structured, paid training in New Zealand accounting standards, taxation, and business practices, with ongoing mentoring and support from our experienced accounting team.

Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing annual financial statements

Preparing GST returns

Preparing income tax returns

Bookkeeping

Payroll processing

Bank reconciliations

Preparing working papers

Reviewing financial information

Assisting senior & other accountants

Communicating with clients via email

Maintaining accurate client records

The ideal candidate will:

Hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field

Have accounting experience (preferred)

Have strong written and spoken English communication skills

Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Be able to manage deadlines and work independently

Be a positive team player with a willingness to learn

Be proficient in Microsoft Excel

Have experience with Xero or other accounting software (advantage but not essential)

Competitive salary, negotiable based on qualifications, experience and performance

Primarily remote work from home

As our team grows, we plan to establish an office in Amritsar, and the role may transition to a hybrid or office-based position in the future
