- No block scheduling; coverage as needed; potential for cross-site coverage
- Perform adult echocardiography studies in a busy echo lab, including transthoracic echocardiography and related ultrasound exams; maintain a minimum workflow of 7–8 studies per day
- Conduct general ultrasound examinations as assigned, ensuring image quality and patient safety
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, optimize imaging parameters, and troubleshoot as needed
- Accurately document findings and patient data in EPIC EMR; communicate results per department protocol
- Collaborate with cardiology and other clinical teams; may float to outpatient imaging as required
- Address patient needs, assist with positioning, IV access as appropriate, and respond to call requirements when scheduled
- Maintain adherence to safety, infection control, and department policies; ensure proper patient and study documentation for IP, OP, and ICU populations
- ARDMS (ARDCS) or CCI certification required
- BLS (AHA) certification required
- EKG recognition required
- Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience
- EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years required
- Ultrasound Tech Certification Verification (Equivalency) accepted
