The Manor Health & Rehabilitation Center is a 123 bed sub-acute and long-term care skilled nursing facility. The Manor offers comprehensive short-term rehabilitation and long-term skilled nursing services for adults ages 18 and older. The Manor has an employment opportunity for a Staffing Coordinator . This role coordinates unit staffing needs within The Manors nursing department and manages all aspects of employee scheduling and time/record keeping.

Responsibilities
  • Receives call-outs and secures substitute staff as necessary during assigned working schedule.
  • Notifies appropriate unit of call outs.
  • Coordinates staffing with agencies and communicates any issues with DON.
  • Reviews all billing statements and adjusts discrepancies.
  • Works with software vendor to maintain up-to-date knowledge of scheduling system, including any product upgrades, or support issues.
  • Ensures all nursing units have adequate 24 hour coverage.
  • Assures certified nursing assistant hours comply with mandated ratios of aides to residents, 8-1 for day shift, 10-1 for evening shift and 14-1 for night shift.
  • Tracks time off accruals and PTO requests for staff.
  • Processes and evaluates PTO requests within one week of receiving. Returns forms to DON with approval or denial of PTO once processed.
  • Maintains accurate records on all nursing personnel.
  • Maintains phone directories and updates as needed.
  • Processes nursing employees time records. Initiates problem log when necessary.
  • Responsible for completing and posting the Resident Care Staffing Report for RNs, LPNs and CNAs as required by law for long term care facilities.
  • Tracks agency hours and payments submits hours monthly for PBJ reporting.
  • Tracks physician hours submits monthly for PBJ hours reporting.
  • Coordinates approved agency staff paperwork, and completion of Senior Service Agency orientation. Maintains agency staff credentials.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • At least one year of previous clerical experience required.
  • Ability to use standard office machines, including typewrites, copiers, multi-line phones and facsimile machines.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Strong professional, organizational, and interpersonal skills to effectively relate with all members of the healthcare team required.
  • Must be adaptable to change and able to multitask on a routine basis.

Compensation Range: $21.00 - $33.60 per hour

The compensation above reflects the established range from CentraState Healthcare System (CSHS) for this position at the time the job was posted. CSHS considers many factors to determine compensation, including education, experience, skills, licenses, certification, and training. As such, team member compensation may fall outside this range.

Additionally, the compensation range reflects base salary and does not include extra shift rates or incentives tied to quality, productivity, etc., as applicable.

The benefits outlined also reflect CSHS policy at the time of posting. Benefits as are made available to other similarly situated team members of CSHS, although participation is at all times in accordance with and subject to the eligibility and other provisions of such plans and programs.
