Description

We are seeking a skilled AI Engineer with a strong background in Django and other backend frameworks. In this role, you will lead the development and deployment of AI-driven applications, combining expertise in machine learning with robust backend engineering. You’ll work on building scalable AI services, APIs, and platforms that power intelligent features across our products.

Requirements

• Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI/ML models into production environments using Django and RESTful APIs.
• Lead the integration of AI services with web platforms and applications.
• Build reusable components, libraries, and APIs to support various AI-driven features.
• Collaborate with data scientists, DevOps, and product teams to deliver end-to-end AI solutions.
• Optimize model inference and backend performance for real-time or batch-processing systems.
• Ensure data privacy, model governance, and compliance with ethical AI standards.
• Implement monitoring and logging for AI models and backend services.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical decision-making.
• Required Qualifications
• 3+ years of software development experience, with at least 1 year in AI/ML-related projects.
• Strong expertise in Python with deep experience in Django and Django REST Framework.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, or similar.
• Experience in designing and deploying APIs for AI model inference and data pipelines.
• Proficient in working with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of software design principles, scalability, and security best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with FastAPI, Flask, or other modern Python frameworks.
• Background in NLP, computer vision, or recommendation systems.
• Familiarity with ML model lifecycle management tools (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment of ML services.
• Contributions to open-source AI projects or publications in AI/ML.
