*This role will design for high volume, value-oriented retailers. Previous mass market experience is a must.*
Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for an apparel designer located in the New York City Metropolitan area. The Womens Activewear Designer will be responsible for researching and producing innovative, trend-right designs, initiating tech packs, developing fabrics, prints and trims, and creating production-ready designs. This is an exciting opportunity to work on all product categories (wovens, cut & sew, bottoms, and outerwear) within the yoga/athleisure space.
Qualifications6-8 years of experience in Apparel Design, performance/athleisure experience highly preferred Ability to stay up to date with the marketplace and translate trends into commercially successful designs for high volume xzbcwsv retailersExcellent organizational and communication skills, and ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environmentBachelor's degree in fashion design or related field preferredExperience in textile development is a plusProficiency in Adobe Suite and Excel
Annual salary range for this role is $80,000-$95,000 per year
