Location: Rapid City / Black Hills Region, South DakotaProject: Federal Construction ProjectSchedule: Full-Time | 40 Hours per WeekAnticipated Duration: Through July 2028Safety Solutions LLC is seeking qualified candidates for a long-term Site Safety & Health Officer (SSHO) staffing opportunity supporting an active federal construction project in western South Dakota.Position Responsibilities:Provide daily onsite construction safety oversight.Ensure compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1926/1910, applicable EM 385-1-1 requirements, and federal project safety standards.Implement and maintain Accident Prevention Plans (APPs), Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs), and site-specific safety procedures.Conduct site inspections, identify hazards, and coordinate corrective actions.Oversee subcontractor safety compliance and high-risk construction activities.Work directly with project management and field personnel to maintain a safe working environment.Required Qualifications:Documented experience as an SSHO or construction safety professional on federal or comparable construction projects.Ability to meet applicable USACE SSHO qualification requirements.OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety training.Current First Aid/CPR certification.Working knowledge of EM 385-1-1, APPs, AHAs, and construction safety regulations.Strong communication, documentation, and field leadership skills.Local candidates are strongly preferred.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced safety professional seeking a stable, long-term assignment in the Black Hills region. xzbcwsv Interested candidates are encouraged to contact Safety Solutions LLC directly through LinkedIn or submit a resume for confidential consideration.#NowHiring #SSHO #ConstructionSafety #SafetyJobs #RapidCity #BlackHills #EM385 #FederalConstruction #SafetySolutions
