Today, we are one of the world's fastest growing insurance organizations, capable of writing in 128 countries on 6 continents.About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Regional Manager to drive the development, execution, and achievement of our Non-Blue Water Hull, Marine Liability, and Cargo insurance business. This is a hands-on leadership role involving active involvement and oversight across all aspects of production, underwriting, pricing, and portfolio management.Key Responsibilities:Oversee and optimize production, underwriting, pricing, and management of the Marine portfolioReview portfolio profitability and collaborate with field personnel to determine and implement corrective action plansProvide underwriting support, handle referrals, and establish target accountsPursue business opportunities and actively obtain submissionsGather and report reinsurance data as neededDirectly handle assigned accounts in partnership with the Regional ManagerDevelop and maintain producer relationships through frequent visitsEnsure ongoing client engagement and provide exceptional serviceQualifications:Bachelor's degree in a related fieldMinimum 10 years of experience in the Marine insurance industryStrong analytical skills, with proficiency in ExcelProven adaptability to change and new technologiesExtensive broker relationships and contactsStarr is an equal opportunity employer, which means we'll consider all suitably qualified applicants regardless of gender identity or expression, ethnic origin, nationality, religion or beliefs, age, sexual orientation, disability status or any other protected characteristic.
