Urgent_Opening_for_Canvendor Hirin g: Project Management Officer (5 Years Experience) | Chennai | Immediate to 15 Days Job Title : Project Management Officer Years of Experience: 5 Years Location : Chennai Work Mode : WFO Job Description – PMO (Insurance Domain) Position: Project Management Office (PMO) Analyst / Manager Role Overview We are looking for an experienced PMO professional with strong Insurance domain experience to support and govern strategic business and technology initiatives. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, technology teams, and leadership to ensure effective project governance, planning, tracking, reporting, and delivery. Key Responsibilities Establish and manage project governance frameworks, standards, and reporting processes. Track project plans, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues. Prepare and present project status reports and dashboards for senior management. Coordinate with business, IT, and vendor teams across multiple projects. Monitor project budgets, resource utilization, timelines, and delivery performance. Manage RAID logs and ensure timely resolution of risks, issues, and dependencies. Support project planning, prioritization, and portfolio management activities. Ensure compliance with organizational governance and delivery standards. Facilitate project review meetings and follow up on key action items. Support insurance business and digital transformation initiatives. Required Skills & Experience 5–10 years of experience in Project Management / PMO roles. Strong experience working in the Insurance domain . Understanding of insurance business processes such as Underwriting, Policy Administration, Claims, Distribution, and Customer Service . Experience managing IT, digital transformation, or insurance technology projects . Strong knowledge of project governance, reporting, risk management, and stakeholder management. Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid . Proficiency in MS Project, Jira, Confluence, Excel, and PowerPoint . Strong communication and presentation skills. Preferred Qualifications PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, or equivalent certification. Experience with Insurance Core Systems, Digital Platforms, or Enterprise Transformation Programs. Experience working with multiple business and technology stakeholders.
