Application Engineer

This is a hands-on engineering role in an international team responsible for deployment and administration of Java applications developed in-house. You will collaborate closely with the developers and with colleagues from IT Infrastructure and Customer Support. Your Responsibilities: •Install, integrate, and troubleshoot Java-based applications hosted at G+D Datacenters and Cloud environments for market-leading customers. •Operate web servers, proxy servers, and Java applications in a Linux-based environment, including the management of digital certificates and keys. •Analyze and resolve incidents related to Java applications, in compliance with the service level agreements and service processes based on the ITIL framework. •Implement, test, and document new customer solutions in close coo
