A well-established geotechnical and materials testing firm is looking for a Geotechnical Engineering Manager to lead its engineering operations and help grow the business into new sectors.
What you'll do:
Lead a team of engineers plus field and lab technicians, overseeing day-to-day operationsOwn the P&L: budgets, staffing, utilization, invoicing and profitabilityDirect subsurface investigations, seismic/liquefaction evaluations, slope analysis and design recommendationsAct as geotechnical engineer of record on DSA (schools) and HCAI (hospitals) projectsSet and enforce QA/QC standards in the lab and fieldDrive business development into infrastructure, healthcare, education and commercial workMentor junior staff and build strong relationships with clients, agencies, architects and contractors
What you'll bring:
BS in Civil, Geotechnical or Geological Engineering xzbcwsv GE license5+ years of geotechnical or geological experienceStrong grounding in soil and rock mechanics and commercial geotechnical softwareClear, defensible report writing and confident client communication
