Overview

This is a storage infrastructure role focused on managing and supporting enterprise storage environments while ensuring compatibility and connectivity across both IPv4 and IPv6 networks . The engineer will be responsible for maintaining storage performance, configuring SAN/NAS solutions, troubleshooting IPv6-related issues, and supporting backup and disaster recovery operations.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support storage systems, including SAN, NAS, and Direct Attached Storage, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Configure storage technologies to communicate over IPv6 in addition to IPv4.
• Monitor storage capacity, health, and performance metrics to identify and resolve issues.
• Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures to safeguard data integrity.
• Manage IPv6 configurations and troubleshoot IPv6 network issues related to storage systems.

• Minimum of 5 years of related experience supporting storage solutions including SAN, INAS, or similar systems.
• Strong knowledge of IPv6 networking, addressing, routing, subnetting, and troubleshooting.
• Bachelor's Degree (BS) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience configuring and managing storage systems and IPv6 networks.
• Ability to monitor storage performance and perform backups and disaster recovery.
