Up to 39.41 per hour depending on level of experience\ N We are currently recruitingfor a Temporary Finance Manager to join a prestigious, long-established Edinburgh business operating within the luxury retail sector. The organisation has a strong heritage and has seen significant investment in recent years, making this a great time to join the business as it continues its next phase of growth. This is a broad, hands-on position working closely with the Head of Finance, with plenty of exposure across the wider business and its commercial operations.Key responsibilities will include:\ N
Producing monthly management accounts\ N Preparing quarterly financial reports and variance analysis\ N Supporting cashflow monitoring and reporting\ N Overseeing sales and purchase ledgers alongside the Finance Assistant\ N Managing stock reconciliations and the fixed asset register\ N Supporting year-end accounts and external audit\ N Assisting with VAT returns, payroll and annual budgeting\ N Providing financial analysis to support business decisions\ N Maintaining strong financial controls and improving finance processes\ N

Part-qualified or qualified-by-experience candidates will be considered\ N Strong management accounting and budgeting experience\ N Confident Excel and financial systems skills\ N Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills\ N Someone comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment\ N Stock accounting/reconciliation experience would be advantageous\ N
