Target Compensation: $100,000 - $125,000

Location: 3 day onsite in Newark, NJ

Key Responsibilities For The Accounting Manager

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations, including oversight of AP and AR functions.
• Manage monthly close, reconciliations, fixed assets, and general ledger activities.
• Oversee nonprofit revenue recognition for grants, contributions, pledges, and deferred revenue. (
• Support cash forecasting, liquidity planning, and daily cash management activities.
• Drive process improvements, system integrations, and NetSuite training initiatives.

Qualifications For The Accounting Manager

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience within nonprofit organizations.
• Strong experience with NetSuite, preferably in a nonprofit environment.
• Proven leadership skills with experience overseeing accounting operations and cross-functional collaboration.
