NCCER Industrial Electrician

Coastal Staffing Services, LLC is seeking experienced NCCER Industrial Electricians to work inside an LNG plant near Port Arthur, Texas. Qualified candidates must have industrial electrical experience, a valid TWIC card, and a current Safety Card.

ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems and equipment.Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications.Install and secure conduit, cable trays, wiring, junction boxes, and electrical equipment.Pull, route, label, and terminate power and control cables.Connect motors, lighting, panels, switchgear, and other equipment as assigned.Use appropriate testing equipment to check continuity, voltage, and electrical connections.Identify electrical problems and complete repairs within assigned responsibilities.Follow site electrical safety procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, work permits, and applicable electrical codes.Participate in safety meetings and job hazard assessments.Maintain tools and a clean, organized work area.Coordinate with supervisors and other trades to meet project requirements.Perform other related duties as assigned.Required QualificationsNCCER certification or credential in Industrial Electrical; subject to verification.Valid TWIC card.Current Safety Card accepted by the facility.Valid driver license and clean driving record is a plusPrevious industrial electrician experience.Ability to read electrical drawings and perform industrial electrical installation and troubleshooting.Knowledge of electrical tools, testing equipment, and safe work practices.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work effectively with a crew.Reliable transportation to the jobsite near Port Arthur, TX.Ability to meet facility access and screening requirements.Physical and Work RequirementsWork in an industrial LNG plant environment while following all facility safety requirements.Climb ladders and stairs, work at heights, and stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach as required.Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and around operating equipment.Safely handle tools and materials and wear required personal protective equipment.Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation. xzbcwsv To apply: Send your résumé and credentials to C or visit our website at and fill out online application!
