Gryphon Oakwood is representing an established electrical contractor seeking a General Manager to oversee commercial and industrial electrical construction operations, drive project performance and lead teams across multiple projects.
This is an opportunity for an experienced electrical construction leader with strong operational, financial and people-management skills, including a willingness to travel approximately to project sites.
Key ResponsibilitiesOversee electrical construction projects, ensuring safe, timely and profitable deliveryDrive operational performance, project financials, budgeting, forecasting and cost controlLead and support Project Managers, Superintendents and field leadershipCoordinate staffing, procurement, scheduling, subcontractors and project resources.Maintain strong client relationships and oversee contract compliance and change managementPromote safety, quality and continuous operational improvementIdentify project risks, resolve challenges and communicate performance to senior leadershipOversee project closeout and ensure contractual and financial requirements are met
Requirements5+ years of electrical construction project management experienceExperience delivering industrial electrical construction projects is essentialPrevious supervisory or leadership experience with an electrical contractor preferredStrong understanding of project financials, scheduling, estimating and cost managementExcellent leadership, communication, organization and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and construction project management softwareElectrical apprenticeship completion preferred
