Key Stage 2 Teacher

GAC Education is recruiting confident and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teachers to work across primary schools throughout Kirklees.

We are looking for teachers who can create purposeful, inclusive classrooms and deliver engaging learning across the Key Stage 2 curriculum.

Opportunities may include day-to-day cover as well as longer-term placements, including permanent roles.

Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum Maintain positive classroom routines and behaviour expectations Adapt teaching to meet different learning needs Assess pupil understanding and provide appropriate feedback Work effectively with Teaching Assistants and school colleagues Support pupils to develop confidence, independence and a positive attitude to learning Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching within a primary school setting.

Strong knowledge and understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum .

Confident planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons across the primary curriculum.

Able to differentiate and adapt teaching to meet a range of abilities and additional learning needs.

Strong classroom and behaviour management , with the ability to establish clear routines and expectations.

Able to assess pupil understanding, identify gaps in learning and provide constructive feedback .

Confident working alongside Teaching Assistants, SEND staff and the wider school team .

Able to build positive professional relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents/carers .

Adaptable, organised and reliable , with the confidence to settle quickly into different school environments.

Committed to creating an inclusive and supportive classroom where pupils are encouraged to make progress and develop independence.
