Our client is a long-established, top-ranked San Diego real estate boutique. For five decades it has represented developers, investors, and lenders across California. The firm holds Tier 1 regional rankings in both Real Estate and Land Use & Zoning, and was recently recognized nationally for its client service. It is looking to add a commercial real estate associate who wants to put down roots in San Diego and build a long-term practice.
What you’ll work onThe firm’s practice helps clients buy, sell, lease, and finance commercial property, and structure the entities behind those deals. You’ll work directly with partners on:Acquisitions and dispositions of industrial, multifamily, retail, and office propertiesLender-side real estate financing, a growing area with a clear path to build your own expertiseLand use, zoning, and entitlement mattersPurchase and sale agreement drafting and negotiationTitle and survey due diligenceLLC, partnership, and joint venture formation for real estate ventures
What we’re looking forJD with 2–5 years of commercial real estate transactional experienceActive California Bar membership, or recently sat for the California Bar with results pendingHands-on experience drafting and negotiating purchase agreements and running due diligenceInterest in real estate finance (prior exposure is a plus)Land use, entitlement, or home builder compliance experience is a plusA steady, collegial, client-focused professional who wants to grow with one firm long-termBased in, or committed to relocating to, San Diego. This is an in-office role.
