Job Description – Audit Assistant (B.Com Fresher)

Position : Audit Assistant

Location : Mumbai

Employment Type : Full-time

About the Role:

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated B.Com graduates/freshers who are keen to build a career in the field of accounting, auditing and taxation. The selected candidates will work closely with experienced Chartered Accountants and gain practical exposure to statutory audits, accounting, taxation and corporate compliance assignments across various industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in statutory audits, tax audits and internal audit assignments.
• Perform vouching, verification and reconciliation of financial records.
• Prepare audit working papers and supporting documentation.
• Assist in verification of books of account, invoices, bank statements and statutory records.
• Conduct balance confirmations and follow-up with clients for audit information.
• Assist in preparation of financial statements and audit reports.

Eligibility

• B.Com Graduate (Freshers are encouraged to apply)

Desired Skills

• Basic understanding of Accounting Principles.
• Knowledge of Tally or any accounting software.
• Basic knowledge of GST and Income Tax.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and work in a professional environment.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work as part of a team.

Experience :

Freshers to 1 year of relevant experience.

Qualification :

Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com)
