Production Supervisor (1st shift Mon-Friday)

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily production activities, providing leadership and direction to production employees, and ensuring that manufacturing goals are consistently met. This individual will play an important role in identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing initiatives that increase efficiency, productivity, quality, and overall operational performance.
Schedule: Monday-Friday (5:30am-3:00pm) with every other Friday offApproved Compensation: $70K - $110K (based on experience)Team size: 20-30 FTEs
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise daily production operations to ensure safety, quality, efficiency, and productivity goals are met.Provide direction, coaching, and development to production employees.Monitor production schedules and workflows to ensure orders are completed on time. • Identify production issues and work with team members and management to develop effective solutions.Drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the manufacturing operation.Utilize continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar processes.Identify opportunities to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and optimize production processes.Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and adherence to company policies and procedures.Monitor employee performance and provide feedback, coaching, and support when needed.Work closely with other departments to resolve production, quality, and operational issues.Maintain accurate production records and communicate performance metrics to management.Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented manufacturing environment.
