The Opportunity:At Talisman Advisory Partners, we’re seeking an Associate Consultant to join our Finance & Investment Professionals practice in NYC, NY.
This role is suited to an early-career recruitment professional looking to develop within a high-performance, advisory-led environment, supporting senior consultants and partners on complex, senior-level search mandates.
The successful candidate will gain structured exposure to the full recruitment lifecycle, with a clear pathway toward managing searches independently and assuming broader commercial responsibility over time.
What We're Looking For:Approximately 2 years’ experience in recruitment, executive search, or a related professional services environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsProfessional presence and confidence engaging with senior stakeholdersHighly organized with strong attention to detailCommercially minded, performance-driven, and motivated by progressionResilient, proactive, and able to manage competing prioritiesExposure to finance, infrastructure, energy, professional services, or similar sectorsExperience in executive search, retained search, or a specialist recruitment deskAdvanced LinkedIn Recruiter or CRM experience
What You'll Do:Conduct targeted candidate research and market mapping across defined financial and investment marketsDevelop and maintain talent maps, longlists, and pipelines for active mandatesEngage senior-level xzbcwsv candidates through LinkedIn, email, and telephoneScreen candidates against role specifications and client requirementsSupport execution of multiple live searches, including interview coordination, feedback management, and candidate communicationPrepare candidate summaries, shortlists, and client briefing materialsMaintain accurate records within the CRM and search tracking systemsContribute to market intelligence, compensation benchmarking, and talent insightsProgressively support client relationship management and business development activities
