Senior Associate – Accounting & Finance

Location: Noida, Sector 3, India | Hybrid

Employment Type: Full-time

Work Schedule: 5 days/week

Shift Timings: 10:00 AM–7:00 PM IST or 12:00 PM–9:00 PM IST About the Role

We are looking for an ambitious Senior Associate – Accounting & Finance to join a fast-growing, technology-driven accounting environment serving US and UK businesses.

The role involves managing day-to-day bookkeeping, month-end close, management accounts, reconciliations, client reporting, payroll, VAT compliance, and year-end processes while working closely with international clients.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, technology-enabled environment, takes ownership, and is excited about using automation and modern tools to improve accounting processes. Key Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of small clients and support managers on large and complex engagements. Design and implement bespoke accounting processes based on client requirements. Oversee day-to-day transaction processing, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), bookkeeping, and month-end closure. Complete month-end close processes, including identifying and posting journal entries. Proactively manage client finance inboxes and coordinate with international clients. Process payroll and support VAT submissions to HMRC. Prepare management accounts and investor reporting. Support managers with operational and accounting responsibilities. Review your own work and the work of other team members to maintain quality standards. Support ad-hoc projects including consolidation, business planning, and due diligence. Train and support new team members as they get up to speed. Build strong client relationships and consistently deliver exceptional client service. Identify opportunities to improve processes through technology, automation, and AI-enabled tools. Required Qualifications & Skills Qualified Accountant (CA/ACCA) or strong semi-qualified accounting professional. 5–6 years of relevant UK/US accounting experience. Strong hands-on experience with Xero and Quick Books. Strong Excel skills and understanding of GAAP, IFRS, UK GAAP, and US GAAP. Experience with bookkeeping, AP, AR, reconciliations, month-end close, journals, management accounts, payroll, and VAT. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent client coordination and relationship-management abilities. Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Effective time management and ability to manage multiple client engagements. Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of deliverables. Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) is preferred. Ability and willingness to quickly learn new accounting systems, technology, and AI-enabled workflows.
