T-Rex Solutions is looking to select a DevSecOps Engineer to support our
Internal Revenue Service (IRS) EDOS program. The overall mission of this program
is to modernize the IRS legacy Tax processing systems and is critical to the
overall modernization of the IRS to improve taxpayer experience, increase
voluntary compliance, and reduce the IRS’s reliance on costly and unsustainable
legacy technology.
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining secure, end-to-end
CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native infrastructure.
* Leverage expertise in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment;
container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker); and modern cloud platforms to
automate vulnerability scans, infrastructure-as-code validations, and
policy-as-code enforcement.
* Working closely with development, QA, and security teams, the engineer embeds
security controls throughout the software lifecycle, defines metrics for
pipeline efficiency and security posture, and fosters a culture of secure
coding and compliance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of overall experience
- US Citizenship required
- Must possess an active IRS MBI Clearance and have current GFE
- Hand on AWS DevSecOps experience
- GitHub
- GitLab CI/CD
- Build Management
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with client stakeholders at
all organizational and technical levels
* Prior experience working on Agile teams

this position is $100,000 - $150,000. Please note that the salary information is

business considerations when extending an offer.
