Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Fashion Designer role based in Hyderabad. The Fashion Designer will develop collections that align with SOROS's aesthetic, from initial concept and sketching through sampling and final fittings. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching materials and silhouettes, collaborating with pattern makers and embroiderers, overseeing fabric selection and textile development, and ensuring garments meet fit and quality standards. The role also involves working closely with the creative and production teams to translate design ideas into finished pieces, maintaining consistency in brand identity, and continuously exploring new techniques and textures that support conscious, timeless design.

Qualifications

• Strong Fashion Design and Fashion skills, including concept development, sketching, and collection planning.
• Hands-on experience with Textiles and Embroidery, with an eye for texture, fabric behavior, and surface design.
• Proficiency in Fitting, garment construction, and working with pattern makers and tailoring teams.
• Ability to use design tools (manual and digital), such as Adobe Illustrator or similar fashion design software.
• Attention to detail, strong aesthetic sense, and commitment to quality and craftsmanship.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant education in Fashion Design or a related field; prior experience in luxury or bespoke fashion is an advantage.
• Understanding of sustainable and conscious design practices is highly beneficial.
