UX/UI Web Designer

The Choice is seeking an experienced UX/UI Web Designer for our client, a nonprofit scientific association. This position will provide temporary coverage during a parental leave, supporting the organization's digital team with webpage and website design projects. The ideal candidate will have strong Figma experience and a background in web design.

Location: RemotePay Rate: Starts at $38/hourSchedule: 20 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours depending on project needsTimeframe: Early November 2026 through February 2027
QualificationsProfessional experience in UX/UI design, particularly designing websites and webpagesStrong proficiency in Figma requiredExperience creating webpage layouts, wireframes, and mockupsAbility to work within established brand guidelines, design systems, and templatesStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and technical teamsAbility to work independently and manage multiple design requestsAvailability for a consistent part-time schedule during Eastern Time business hours
Job DutiesDesign webpages and website layouts using FigmaWork with internal stakeholders to xzbcwsv understand project needs and design requirementsCreate designs using existing brand guidelines, templates, and design standardsCollaborate with the digital team to review designs and make adjustments as neededPrepare and hand off completed designs to the team responsible for website development and implementationSupport additional UX/UI design requests as needed throughout the assignment
