SR Plumbing is recruiting a Gas Engineer to support domestic gas and heating work across Sheffield, South Yorkshire.This is a general domestic gas role covering boiler installations, boiler servicing, gas safety appointments, CP12s and related heating work. Boiler repair and breakdown experience is useful, but the role is not limited to breakdown work.ResponsibilitiesComplete domestic gas work including appliance checks, gas safety visits and general heating appointments.Install boilers and related heating controls to a safe, professional standard.Carry out boiler servicing and planned gas maintenance work.Complete CP12s and required gas paperwork accurately.Identify unsafe situations and follow the correct Gas Safe procedures.Explain completed work clearly to customers.Keep job records up to date for each appointment.RequirementsCurrent Gas Safe registration for domestic gas work.Domestic gas qualifications covering boilers and common gas appliances.Experience with boiler installations, servicing and gas safety checks.Good understanding of domestic heating systems and controls.Full UK driving licence.A tidy, reliable and customer-conscious way of working.Desirable experienceBoiler repair and breakdown experience.Confidence working across common domestic boiler brands.Experience with heating controls, radiators and system balancing.Previous CP12 and landlord maintenance visit experience.What success looks likeComplete domestic gas work safely and to the required standard.Install boilers and heating controls neatly and professionally.Keep gas paperwork and job notes accurate.Communicate clearly with customers during appointments.Manage booked visits without close supervision.Benefits£40,000 basic starting salary.Company van for work appointments.Uniform supplied.Permanent full-time position.Work focused around agreed regional areas.Office support with booking information and customer notes.Additional hours available when workload allows.Location and working patternCovering Sheffield, South Yorkshire and agreed nearby service areas for domestic gas appointments.Full-time mobile role built around booked domestic gas appointments, installations, servicing and safety checks.How to applyApply below with details of your Gas Safe status, domestic gas background, boiler installation experience and any boiler breakdown or repair experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
