Salary: $107,500 - 204,500 per year Requirements:

• We require experience with cost account management for an engineering team.
• We require experience managing an Integrated Master Schedule for a multi-year program.
• We require experience using risk and opportunity frameworks to manage complex program execution within schedule and cost constraints.
• We require experience performing product owner duties, including scope and backlog management.
• We require an active, transferable Secret security clearance before the start date; U.S. citizenship is required for clearance eligibility.
• We typically require a STEM degree and at least 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and at least 5 years of experience.
• We prefer experience with multithreaded real-time embedded applications.
• We prefer experience leading proposals and bid activities using the SEER parametric estimation tool.
• We prefer experience with Agile development methods and technical leadership in an Agile team.
• We prefer experience developing TCP/IP network applications, using UML, or working with cross-domain solutions.

• We rely on you to apply expert embedded C/C++ and Python skills throughout software development, delivering reliable solutions that meet functional and performance needs.
• We expect you to lead technical proposal development and program-level cost estimates during bid and proposal activities.
• We ask you to lead software development execution for small teams, maintaining technical quality and alignment with program cost and schedule while fostering collaboration.
• We expect you to translate customer requirements into complete, practical system solutions that account for technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
• We rely on you to estimate, track, and communicate program cost, schedule, and risk metrics in alignment with earned value management.

Our Integrated Secure Processing Solutions team is seeking a Principal Software Lead Engineer to help develop mission-critical solutions for Mission Systems. We work with civilian, military, and government customers on secure communications, missionized systems, and collaborative space solutions. This is an onsite role in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The posted salary range is $107,500–$204,500, and the role is eligible for a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.
