The company is seeking a Senior Finance Manager, Procure-to-Pay to lead its global P2P function within Finance Shared Services. This person will serve as the Global Process Owner and oversee end-to-end operations across areas including vendor master data, purchase requisitions and orders, invoice processing, disbursements, vendor services, corporate cards, escheatment, and related tax reporting.
The role will lead a distributed team of approximately 25 professionals across internal resources and an India-based BPO organization, while partnering closely with Supply Chain, IT, Corporate Accounting, and Operations.
Key areas of responsibility include:Leading and continuously improving the global Procure-to-Pay processDriving standardization and consistency across regionsOverseeing AP, vendor master, payments, T&E, and related transactional activitiesPartnering with BPO providers and monitoring SLA performanceImproving controls, compliance, and process governanceDriving automation and process simplification through RPA, AI, and other technologiesSupporting ERP and systems enhancements, including SAP S/4HANA and ConcurUsing data and benchmarking to improve operational performance and working capitalLeading, coaching, and developing a high-performing global teamPartnering across functions to improve both efficiency and the internal stakeholder experience
The ideal candidate will bring:8+ years of progressive experience across Procure-to-Pay, Accounts Payable, T&E, and/or Vendor Master Data5+ years of people leadership experienceExperience managing P2P operations within a BPO or shared-services environmentStrong SAP S/4HANA and Concur experienceA track record of process improvement, automation, and transformationStrong knowledge of internal controls, GAAP, and compliance requirementsExperience within CPG, manufacturing, or another global matrixed organization preferredA hands-on, collaborative leadership style with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving and evolving environmentStrong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skillsCandidates should be based in the Chicago area or willing to relocate and comfortable working onsite three days per week. xzbcwsv This is a highly visible role for someone who enjoys both running the operation and transforming it, with the opportunity to influence how a global finance process is built and scaled.
