Assistant Manager Credit Risk

Position - Assistant Manager Credit Risk Industry - NBFC Location - Mumbai - Bandra East Qualification - Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting or related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications like FRM, CFA, or Credit Risk Management certification preferred. Experience - Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in credit risk management, with a strong background in financial risk management. Responsibilities: Portfolio analysis and risk monitoring for identifying credit risk. Review financial statements, business models, and market conditions to make informed credit decisions Secured and unsecured products risk analysis. Reviewing and updating of Risk policies /SOP. Preparation of risk analysis reports / dashboard pertaining to credit portfolio. Regular discussion with Business Units to understand business-level risks. Coordinate for Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) exercise across departments. Monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and escalate emerging risks to senior management. Conduct enterprise-wide risk assessments covering all major risk categories evaluate control effectiveness. Ensure the risk practices comply with relevant regulations and guidelines set forth by regulators. KEY SKILLS: Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail. Expertise in financial statement analysis and credit risk assessment. Thorough understanding of risk management process Proficiency in preparing management-level reports and dashboards Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Proactive and solution-driven approach to problem-solving.
